BELOW is a 60 Minutes segment entitled, "Tulsa Burning" that originally aired Nov 9, 1999 as we were in the midst of our first rewrites.  We were able to speak extensively with each of the people interviewed here and many others as we wrote A Song of Greenwood.   Sadly, all of the survivors of the Tulsa Race Massacre seen here have since passed on.  Along with the amazing survivors, Dr. Scott Ellsworth is also one of Tulsa's greatest unsung heroes. A Smithsonian-trained historian, he was responsible for uncovering many of these facts that had been excised from the history books.
